Mastering Your Sewing Machine - Basics


     If you have just purchased a new sewing machine, it is highly recommended that everyone enroll in this one! We will go over the specifics of your sewing machine as well as a discussion of needles, threads and helpful hints for today's sewing environment. You will learn how to thread your machine, wind the bobbin, select stitches, make buttonholes, and change accessory feet. Basic machine maintenance & troubleshooting will also be discussed.

This class is for all brands of sewing machines ( unless specified in a particular session) including but not limited to Pfaff, Brother, Husqvarna Viking, Baby Lock, Kenmore, Singer, Elna, Janome, Bernina, New Home, Juki, White

 

Supply List: Sewing machine (including all of its parts and accessories), instruction manual, scissors and any questions you may have.


NOTE: Please register at least 7 days ahead of time for the session of interest to you as many classes have a minimum enrollment required for them to run. If the minimum is not met, we may have cancelled the class.


 


Skill Level: Beginner
Requirements: Please bring your sewing machine in good working order including all of its parts and accessories ; instruction manual if available.
